Hey, it's me again. slkshapiro@yahoo.com. I'm interested in joining a critique group or beginning one. I have worked in a critique group for 20 years and am able to critique fiction, creative non-fiction and poetry.

The Writers of Glencoe are seeking additional members interested in critique of their adult fiction and non-fiction. If you are looking for a writing group that provides a combination of peer and professional moderator reviews, please submit a cover letter including your contact information, writing experience, education, memberships, publications and awards, subject matter expertise and genres to manager@the-writers.org. Please include a sample(s) of your writing (20 pages or less in Word format). Your work will be reviewed by the manuscript committee and you will be contacted shortly thereafter. An opportunity to observe a session is also available prior to joining the group. At this time all meetings are conducted via Zoom, twice a month on Wednesday mornings from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.

Hi...I'm a fiction writer, but I've spent the last several years writing poetry.  Is there an OCWW critique group  for poets? On-site meetings in the metro Chicago area's west/or near north suburbs preferred, but I'm flexible.

In response to the post on 3/5/24 regarding a critique group. I am interested in meeting either in person or online. We could do the northern suburbs. Would you like to start with a group of two? Are you in the directory? I am, and you can email me.  Thanks!

I'm interested in Historical Fiction and would really like to find a critique group, preferably an on-site group meeting, with the frequency being negotiable.  I'm in the western suburbs, but I'm willing to travel to Northwest suburbs or Skokie/Evanston area.

I'm interested in participating in a critique group. I'm on the West Coast and have completed a draft and revision of my women's contemporary fiction novel. I hope to hear back from others. Thanks.

Hi, My goal is to write a short story a week for a year, and I will also be working on a novel that I hope to be my master's in English thesis project. I also love memoir and had been immersed for a couple years in writing and learning the craft. I have a creative writing certificate. And so while my time is limited, I certainly need a critique group on occasion. If anyone is interested in a minimal group that meets online, (and possibly does more offline) I'd certainly be interested. I'm interested in fiction, creative nonfiction, short stories, essays, novels, novellas.
